Trots odds from every paceway

The harness racing odds API carries every Australian trots meeting we see priced, from Saturday night at Menangle and Melton to the Friday card at Gloucester Park, plus Albion Park, Globe Derby and the bush tracks in between. New Zealand harness is in there as well, with Addington, Alexandra Park and Cambridge.

Pacers and trotters are all in the one feed. Each race has fixed win and place odds from every bookmaker that prices it, and runners line up by number across books, so the best price on a runner is one comparison away.

Harness markets often go up later than the gallops and keep moving into the night. As each bookmaker posts or changes a price, that bookmaker's block for the race updates and gets pushed out over the WebSocket.

Are trotting races included as well as pacing?

Yes. Trots and pacing races are both harness races, so they all come through with code=harness.

Do you cover feature races like the Miracle Mile?

Yes. Feature races are covered like any other race on the card, as soon as bookmakers price them, which is usually the day before.

How do I get harness odds instead of horse racing?

Add code=harness to /racing/meetings, /racing/races or your WebSocket subscribe message. The response format is identical to the thoroughbred feed.

Does harness cost extra?
